Compared two CRM tools for a whole month each and the difference was shocking

I spent January testing HubSpot against Pipedrive for my agency's 12 person team, and the simpler one won because it didn't bury our follow up tasks in all those extra features, has anyone else found that less really is more when choosing tools?

Wait, hold on - you tested these for a whole month each? idk how you had the patience for that, I would have given up after a week. @noahw53 is totally right about feature creep though, I remember demoing HubSpot and feeling like I needed a map to find the follow up tasks buried under all the analytics dashboards and email templates. Pipedrive's whole "next step" focus just makes way more sense for actually getting stuff done without the extra noise.

Yeah, that "feature creep" thing is real. HubSpot feels like it's trying to do everything at once, and you end up spending more time managing the tool than actually selling. Pipedrive keeps things focused on what matters, the next step with the customer.
