Finally saw a real ROI difference after switching our project management software back in March

We moved from Trello to a more structured tool called Monday.com and our project completion rate went from 60% to 85% over 4 months, mostly because the team actually uses it for daily check-ins now - anyone else find the tool choice matters way less than getting buy-in from the whole crew?

Finally noticed the same thing after we moved our team from Basecamp to Asana last year. The tool itself was fine but what really changed things was getting everyone to actually commit to using it daily for standups and task updates. We spent like two weeks just training people and setting up reminders so nobody forgot to check in. Once the habit stuck the completion rates jumped way up, probably from like 50% to 80% over three months. Honestly think the buy-in part is way harder than picking the software because you can have the best tool in the world but if nobody opens it it's useless.

I mean, it's more like 4 to 6 weeks for a real habit to stick, not two.
