My top biller quit on a Friday and I had 3 hours to cover a client kickoff in Dallas
She walked into my office at 3pm with a resignation letter and gave me two weeks, then took the whole two weeks as vacation. I had a client kickoff in Dallas on Monday morning and nobody who knew the account. So I sat down that weekend with her notes and rebuilt the whole deck myself, then walked the team through it at 7am Monday. The client never knew, but I did learn to have every account backed by at least two people. How do you all handle single points of failure on big accounts without making everyone feel like they are being watched?
