Saw a 6 person agency in Austin running everything off one whiteboard while my team drowns in 11 project tools
Stopped by a friend's shop last month and their whole week lives on a dry erase board by the door, no Asana, no Slack, nothing. Made me wonder if my 9 person team is actually busier or just clicking more, what does your team actually run on day to day?

Watched a small crew do this too and the thing nobody talks about is how much of those 11 tools exist just to prove you did something. Every update, tag, and status change creates a paper trail that feels like work but mostly covers your ass. A whiteboard can't do that, so people actually have to talk to each other and trust each other. How many of your tools are really there for the work versus for the record of it?
