Hot take: AI assistants need to stop overthinking everything
Mine analyzed my pizza order for hidden meanings instead of just confirming it. I couldn't stop laughing!

That pizza order story is funny, but I actually like when my assistant digs a little deeper. Sometimes it catches things I would have missed, like a duplicate charge on a bill last week. A bit of overthinking can be helpful now and then.

Totally! My partner double-checked a hotel booking once and found they'd charged us for the "premium view" room when we'd picked the basic one. That second look saved us like eighty bucks. Now I make a point of scanning receipts before I leave any store. It feels a bit extra, but it's crazy how often a wrong price or double scan slips through.

Mary_carter80 is right about that second look being a lifesaver. In my own work, I always have someone review the big orders (you know, like material deliveries) because mistakes happen. We found an extra pallet of mulch on an invoice last month just by matching it to the delivery ticket. Setting up a simple system, like comparing every bill to a purchase order, catches those errors. It turns worry into a useful routine.
