My friend in Seattle said to watch 'Monster' in one go, so I did the whole 74 episodes in a weekend.
I was totally wiped out and missed a ton of the small details that make the story so good. On the other hand, binging it made the slow build of the tension feel really intense and I couldn't stop thinking about it for days. Has anyone else tried a massive binge on a slow-burn show and found it changed how you saw it?

Yeah, I read an article once that said binging a slow show can turn it into a whole different kind of story, more like one long movie. I did that with a different series and missed all the small clues too, just like @benw87 said about rewatching big scenes later. For Monster though, all that quiet tension back to back must have been totally overwhelming.

Totally get that wiped out feeling. Monster is a beast to binge. Honestly, for a slow burn like that, I'd say watch it again but in chunks. Let a couple episodes sit with you before moving on. The details in the background stuff, like the newspaper clippings or a character's small choice, really land better with some breathing room. The tension still builds, but you catch the craft.

Ever try a rewatch but just for the big scenes? I did that after binging a different show and it helped me spot all the little stuff I missed the first time without the burnout. Lets you appreciate the slow build in a whole new way.
