Re-watching an old show I hated and actually liking it now
I was at a buddy's place last Saturday and he put on the first episode of that isekai I dropped after 3 episodes back in 2018. Something just clicked this time around, maybe because I wasn't comparing it to the manga anymore. Has anyone else had a complete 180 on a show after giving it a second shot?

Watched Steins;Gate twice before it finally clicked for me.

Used to think Steins;Gate was overhyped after my first watch. Could not figure out what everyone was raving about with the slow start and all the random science talk. Gave it another shot a year later and paid more attention to the little details this time. The second time through everything started making sense and I caught all the foreshadowing I missed before. Now I totally get why people call it a masterpiece. Changed my whole view on time travel stories honestly.
