I posted a scene breakdown for Jujutsu Kaisen episode 17 on the subreddit and someone commented that my pacing analysis was 'all surface level, no real critique'. It hit hard because they were right, I was just listing what happened instead of digging into why the director framed the fight that way. How do you guys push past that initial sting to actually improve your analysis?

See the same thing at work when people just list tasks instead of explaining their thinking.

Evan's got a point. At my old job, managers would write "updated spreadsheet" instead of saying why the numbers changed. That's how you end up with people doing busy work instead of solving real problems.
