Vent: That one guy at the anime panel who kept correcting the host

I was at a small con in Phoenix last month sitting in a Q&A for a classic mecha series. This dude in the front row kept interrupting the host every time she said a character name wrong by like a syllable. He did it maybe 8 times until she finally stopped and asked him if he wanted to run the panel. Has anyone else had a fan kill the vibe like that?

Saw a guy at a Transformers panel try to one-up the voice actor on his own character's catchphrase.

I mean, "try to one-up" feels a little harsh to me. Maybe the guy was just really excited and wanted to show he was a true fan, you know? Sometimes people get nervous meeting their heroes and say dumb stuff without meaning to be rude.
