Learned a trick for stuck ice maker paddles from a repair in Denver
I was working on a 5 year old Kenmore side by side in Denver last week where the ice maker paddle kept jamming. Found out the little spring clip behind the paddle had shifted out of its groove, so it wasn't pushing the paddle back into place. Anybody else run into this or found a quicker fix than pulling the whole ice maker out?

yeah that little spring clip is a pain, I've seen it on a few different brands over the years. it's like the one tiny part that always seems to wander off when you least expect it. kinda reminds me of how the little plastic tabs on car cupholders break and you can never find them again either.
