Used to yank fridges out solo for coil cleaning. Not anymore.

Tore a hose on a Samsung last month trying to pull it out by myself. Cost me $180 and a pissed off customer. Now I always bring a second guy for the slide out. Who else learned this the hard way?

Jesus, I gotta call bullshit on this one. I've been pulling fridges solo for years and never had a problem - it's all about knowing how to slide them straight out without jerking them. If you're tearing hoses, you're probably yanking on them instead of checking the water line first like a pro.

Saw a tech on YouTube talking about this exact thing. He said the newer fridges have those soft hoses that can just tear if you yank them wrong. Made me think twice about even trying it solo again.
