Why does nobody talk about how bad Samsung dryer rollers are?

Had a Samsung dryer from 2019 in my shop last week from a lady in Portland. The front rollers were so worn down the drum was catching on the front panel and making this horrible screech. I've seen this on like 5 different Samsung models now, those plastic rollers just don't hold up past 3 years. Anyone else swapping these out constantly or am I just unlucky with the ones that come in?

Oh man, @brown.susan that's actually a good point but I think it's more about the specific models and years than just luck. Samsung switched to cheaper plastic around 2018 and those ones fail way faster than the older ones.

Hang on, I've had a Samsung dryer for about six years now and those rollers are still going strong. Maybe you're just seeing the ones that were abused or had some bad luck. I don't push mine to the max every day, just normal loads, and they haven't given me a single problem. It's possible the problem is more about how people treat their appliances than the parts themselves. Your shop probably gets the worst of the worst, so you're not seeing the ones that work fine for years. Not saying you're wrong about what you saw, but it's not a universal problem.
