Serious question, has anyone else spent an entire afternoon trying to get a door skin to line up perfectly on a 2018 F-150?
I fought with the alignment for over 4 hours before realizing the inner door shell had a slight bend from a previous, poorly done repair that I missed during the initial teardown.

Read a forum post once where a guy swore his new door skin was warped, turned out his door jamb was out of square by like an eighth of an inch from an old hit. He had to pull it with a come-along strapped to a tree before anything would line up. It's crazy how one little bend in the structure you can't even see throws everything off. Makes you triple-check every piece of the inner shell before you even touch the new panel.

Always figured the new parts were the problem. Stories like that make you check the frame first.
