Snap-on vs Harbor Freight impact wrenches put head to head at my shop
I run a small shop in Phoenix and last month my Snap-on 1/2 inch impact finally gave out after like 12 years. I didn't have the $600 for a new one right then so I grabbed a $70 Quinn from Harbor Freight as a temp fix. Man I was skeptical but that thing has been ripping lug nuts off semi trucks no problem for 3 weeks now. It's not as smooth or quiet as the Snap-on and the trigger feel is a little clunky but for the money it's honestly way better than I expected. My buddy who works next bay over is still giving me crap about it but I told him I'll take the extra $530 and put it towards a new scan tool instead. Anyone else find a budget tool that just works way better than it should?

That Quinn has been a lifesaver for a few guys I know too.

Watched a buddy try to install one without reading the manual. Spent three hours swearing at it, then found out he had it upside down the whole time. Quinn bailed him out with a phone call. Made me feel real smart about myself since I did the same thing a month before.
