Warning: I bought a cheap 'universal' crimp tool for a quick job

It mangled the pins on a D-sub connector, and I had to scrap a $35 harness. What's a crimper you've used for years that actually holds up?

A $35 harness scrapped? That's brutal. I've been burned by those "universal" tools before, they're never worth the headache. I've had a Klein Tools crimper for maybe eight years now, the blue handled one for insulated terminals. It's not cheap but it's never once messed up a connection for me.

Eight years on the same crimper?
