Swapped from pegboard to french cleats in the garage last Saturday
I was going back and forth between pegboard and french cleats for tool storage. Pegboard is cheap but those wire hooks always fall out when I grab a wrench. Spent about 60 bucks on oak plywood for the cleats and hung everything in one afternoon. Has anyone else made the switch and found it's worth the extra work?

Oh man, I gotta be the contrarian here... I actually hated french cleats when I tried them. Yeah they look cool but that extra setup time and having to cut all those strips perfect? No thanks. Pegboard's cheap and when my hooks fall out I just bend 'em tighter with pliers, problem solved.

@eva_rivera your plier hack is fine but my cleats haven't budged in 3 years. Pegboard hooks always wobble on me.
