A client asked me to make her logo bigger, so I did, and the whole thing fell apart
She wanted the fox's head to take up like 40 percent of the space and I pushed it to 38, then she said 'no, bigger' at our Kansas City call, so I scaled it up and suddenly the name tagline wrapped into three ugly lines, has anyone else had to push back on size requests with actual mockups instead of just doing it?

Mockups are the only way to go honestly. Show them the ugly wrap before you waste time scaling it.
