Spent 3 hours fixing a logo alignment that was off by 2 pixels
I was working on a client logo in Illustrator for their new bakery in Portland, and the wordmark was sitting slightly crooked. Thought it would be a quick nudge, but I ended up rebuilding the whole thing from scratch because the original file was a mess. Anyone else waste a whole evening on tiny details like this?

Maybe it's just me, but I've noticed that same kind of obsessive attention to tiny things shows up in other areas too, like how I'll reorganize my kitchen drawers for an hour just because the spoons aren't sitting right. It's like once you start fixing one small imperfection, you can't stop until everything feels perfectly in place. I mean, sometimes that level of detail is what makes something really good, but other times it's just a black hole for your whole evening.

Oh man, that's so true. I had a buddy who started rearranging his spice rack one night and didn't stop until like 2am, he was alphabetizing everything and even color coding the labels. It's wild how one tiny thing can just pull you in.
