Unpopular opinion: that checkout screen at the county fair ticket booth made me walk away.
I stood in line at the Oregon State Fair for 12 minutes last Saturday only to find the pay terminal had a button for "Espresso" right next to "Confirm Purchase." Some kid behind me hit the wrong one and got charged $7 for a drink he never ordered while his funnel cake payment hung. Has anyone else had a kiosk layout that just feels like it's messing with you?

Got stuck behind a group of teenagers at the Seattle Puyallup Fair last month trying to buy elephant ears from a touchscreen kiosk. The "Add Ketchup" button was literally the same size as the "Proceed to Payment" button and they kept tapping the wrong one and having to start over. I finally just handed them cash over the screen and said take my eight bucks and give me whatever comes out. The whole design feels like it was made by someone who never actually stood in a fair line with a hungry kid screaming in their ear.

Dude, @cameron_craig you are so right. I had the same thing happen at a car show last summer except it was a hot dog stand. Some kid kept hitting "add relish" over and over and couldn't figure out how to pay. I almost just yanked the touchscreen out of the mount and handed it back to the worker.
