Hit batch 50 on my sourdough starter and it finally clicked

Been keeping this starter alive for 18 months now. Took 50 loaves before I got a crumb that actually looked like the pictures online. Not a single one before that had the right spring. What was your breakthrough loaf number?

50 loaves? Dude that's brutal but honestly kinda impressive you stuck with it that long. I hit like 12 before I almost gave up and threw the whole thing out the window. My breakthrough was around loaf 22 but the crumb was still way tighter than I wanted. 50 just sounds like a different level of patience. What was the main thing that finally made it click for you?

Ah actually I hit 48 not 50, lost count somewhere around the fifteenth one.
