After 5 episodes of 'The Pitt' I switched from Scrubs reruns

I was stuck in a loop watching old Scrubs episodes for the 50th time. My coworker kept saying the new medical show The Pitt was better because it's one real-time shift per season. I finally gave it a shot last Saturday and watched 3 episodes back to back. The pacing feels more tense and the medical stuff is way more accurate. Has anyone else made the jump from comedies to dramas like this?

You binge watched 3 episodes of some intense real-time medical drama and that's your idea of a good Saturday night? Sounds like you traded one addiction for another, man.

3 episodes of something like ER or Trauma: Life in the ER? Man, I get it. There's something about those real-time shows that just hooks you in, like you're right there with the doctors making split second decisions. I've been there myself, swapping one bad habit for another that feels a little more productive but still eats up your whole night. It's not like you're out doing something worse, you know? Sometimes you just need that escape, that intense focus on something else to keep your head straight. I feel you on this one, no judgment from me.
