Can we finally admit that 'The Office' is not the best binge show ever?

I just finished a poll in my book club where 12 out of 15 people picked 'The Office' as their top show to rewatch, but I think it's got too many slow seasons. The first season is rough and the later ones without Michael Scott drag on forever. Am I the only one who thinks there are at least a dozen better shows to binge?

That take on Jim and Pam is pretty spot on actually.

Gotta look at it from a writing perspective instead of just a fan perspective. The whole "will they won't they" with Jim and Pam is basically a masterclass in slow burn storytelling, but after they get together the show loses its main engine. Most binge shows have one or two big arcs that keep you hooked, The Office has like four different shows crammed into nine seasons. It's solid comfort food but calling it the best feels like nostalgia talking more than anything.
