Finally gave The Bear a shot after ignoring it for a year

I couldn't get past all the yelling in the first episode but my cousin kept telling me to stick with it, so I watched 4 episodes in a row last night and now I totally get the hype. Has anyone else had a show that took a few episodes to click?

I don't know, the hype around this show feels a little overblown to me. Is it really that deep or just stressful cooking with good camera work?

Oh come on, @the_diana, it's a cooking competition not a film school thesis. People acting like they discovered hidden layers in scrambled eggs or something.
