Hot take: I used to hate slow burn shows but one scene in Dark did the trick.
Three months ago I was ready to quit Dark after episode 2, but that moment in the cave when the timelines clicked made me binge the whole series in a weekend, anyone else have a show they almost dropped but ended up loving?

Hot take but Dark didn't click for me at all. I sat through the whole first season waiting for that turning point everyone talks about and it just felt like homework. The cave scene was such a letdown, all those timelines and names made my head spin. Actually dropped it halfway through season two when I realized I didn't care who the stranger was or who anyone's parent was. Would much rather watch something that gets to the point from the start.

Read somewhere that Dark was originally meant to be a movie, which explains why it picks up so fast after the slow start. That cave scene really was the turning point for me too.
