Classic. They spent a fortune on that weird turf that needs special fertilizer and constant watering, probably killing off all the clover and dandelions the bees actually used. Now the ground's too hard for worms and the birds have nothing to eat. But hey, at least it looks neat for the two weeks a year it isn't either brown or muddy. Real forward thinking there.

Man, you can actually get the city to fix this. We convinced ours to add clover patches by showing how it cuts upkeep costs. It made a big change for bees and birds.
