inUnpopular opinion: I swore by quick aperture blade fixes until one seized up a week later.
Been there with my old XG-M, that shutter freeze is a real pain.

inI was picking a palette for a cafe menu and my friend said the brown looked like 'muddy coffee water'...
What about a warm, toasted brown instead?

inMy uncle told me to always carry a backup mask strap. Thought it was overkill until mine snapped at 60 feet.
That mask strap story is a real wake-up call. Read a diving magazine article last year that said mask failures are way more common than people assume. They recommended doing a quick strap check as part of your pre-dive routine, looking for any dry rot or cracks. A guy in the article had his snap just from the pressure change during a simple descent, no contact with anything. Makes you realize how a tiny piece of gear can cause such a big problem.

inI thought hiring a full-time project manager was a waste of money
Oh man, that hits close to home. I was the same way with a bookkeeper (you know, thinking I could just do it myself on weekends). Turns out my version of "bookkeeping" was a shoebox full of receipts and a lot of hopeful guessing. Letting go of that control was painful but wow, what a difference it makes when someone who actually knows what they're doing takes over.

inThat old feeling when a client's trust meant more than a quick sale
