Dropped 150 bucks on a laser level for brick walls and it saved my back in one day
Figured the old string method was fine but after laying 500 bricks on a garden wall last weekend I'm never going back to squinting at a line, anyone else make the switch to laser and feel stupid for waiting?

Laser levels are the best thing since sliced bread for masonry work. Spent years doing the string dance with bricks only to realize I'd been playing myself. First time I used a laser on a retaining wall project I finished in half the time with way fewer do-overs. Never going back to squinting at a sagging string.
