My $200 grocery bill lasted me 3 weeks and I feel like I'm doing something wrong
I keep seeing posts about how $75 a week is the way to go for budget meals, but I spent $200 in one trip at Aldi and it stretched almost a full month for my family of 3. I'm not buying fancy stuff either, just basics like rice, beans, frozen veggies, and chicken thighs on sale. Has anyone else had a bigger upfront buy actually work out cheaper in the long run?

Gotta point out that $200 for three weeks is actually around $66 a week, not $75, so you're already beating that budget target. Buying in bulk like that works because you're not making multiple trips where impulse buys sneak in. That chicken thighs and rice combo is legit one of the cheapest ways to feed a family, you're doing fine.

My buddy @the_jason tried that and his kids actually ate it.
