TIL that bulk buying ruined my budget for months

Honestly, I'm so fed up with everyone pushing bulk buys as the ultimate money saver. I spent a huge chunk of my grocery budget on giant bags of rice and beans last year. Tbh, most of it sat in my pantry and went stale before I could finish it. Ngl, I think for people living alone, buying smaller packages more often is way smarter. Now I'm stuck eating bland food and watching my savings disappear.

My cousin Mark bought a 50-pound bag of flour for a baking project last fall. He was convinced he'd use it all making bread for the holidays.
