Switched from weekly to monthly meal planning and it saved me $80
I used to plan out every single meal for the week every Sunday, but I kept buying stuff I didn't end up using. My neighbor in Phoenix told me she just plans a loose menu for the whole month with a shared grocery list, and I tried it last month. I only went to the store three times instead of four, and I threw away way less food. Has anyone else had better luck with a different planning schedule?

Admitted I was skeptical but you're totally right, less waste really adds up.

You ever notice how the little things add up fast? I had a buddy who switched to using rags instead of paper towels and he said his trash bin went from full every few days to barely half by the end of the week. @grace926, you hit the nail on the head about the waste reduction thing. He even started composting his coffee grounds and eggshells, said it was wild how much less he was tossing.
