Rant: My 'freehand' deck plan vs. using SketchUp for the first time
Spent a whole weekend sketching on graph paper, then made the same plan in about 45 minutes with the free version. Anyone else have a tool that made them feel silly for not trying it sooner?

Honestly saw a video where someone said digital tools are just fancy pencils. Tbh they still make you plan the idea first, which is the real work. The software just saves you from redrawing everything a dozen times.
