My bullet journal saved my week when my kid got sick

Honestly, last Tuesday my 4 year old woke up with a fever and my whole schedule fell apart. I grabbed my Leuchtturm1917 and just started rapid logging every little thing, from medicine times to when I managed to eat. Tbh, seeing it all on paper stopped me from feeling totally lost. Has anyone else used their bujo to handle a sudden crisis like that?

How do you even handle all that without losing track? I had a similar thing happen when my dog needed emergency surgery last fall. My whole brain just shut down, but writing every vet call and medicine dose in my notebook made it feel like a list I could work through, not just pure panic. It really does turn a huge scary thing into smaller pieces you can actually do.

Totally get this. My bullet journal was a lifesaver when my car broke down last month. I had to track tow truck calls, repair shop updates, and all the extra bus routes. Writing it down kept me from totally losing my mind over the mess. It feels way less scary when you can see the next small step right there on the page.

What kind of pages did you set up for it? I had a whole spread for my car thing, one column for calls to make, another for costs, and a box for bus times. Made the whole mess feel like a project to handle, not just a disaster.
