Unpopular opinion: Letting my boy sort fittings saved my sanity...

He kept mixing up all my connectors when I was loading the van. I showed him how to group them by size and now he does it right every time. Got any other easy ways to get family involved without causing a mess?

Saved your sanity... really? That seems a bit dramatic for sorting fittings. I mean, it's just connectors, not brain surgery. My kid tries to help and ends up losing half the bolts... that's when I lose my mind. Getting family involved is nice, but sometimes it's more trouble than it's worth. Like when my wife organizes my tools and I can't find anything for a week. So yeah, maybe it's not that big of a deal in the grand scheme.

Nah, it's not just connectors. You ever had a project where everything's a total mess and you waste an hour just looking for one specific piece? That's when sorting saves you. Sure, family can accidentally mess things up, my brother once 'helped' me and I found sockets in the silverware drawer. But when you finally get a system that works, it actually does keep you from losing your mind.
