TIL that asking for a 15% raise at my review actually worked
I went in with a list of three specific projects I led that saved the company over $40k. My boss approved it on the spot, saying he usually expects people to ask for half that. Has anyone else found that being direct with numbers changes the game?

My old boss said he expected people to ask for at least 20%.
