PSA: My $200 inspection camera just gave up the ghost inside a flue in Boise yesterday.
The cable snagged on a broken tile and the whole unit went dark, leaving me to finish a 30-foot sweep basically blind, so what's the most durable camera you guys have actually used for more than a season?

Heard the Milwaukee M12 is a tank, but is it really that tough?

Feel your pain, that sounds like a brutal way to lose a tool. My old Ridgid micro camera took a real beating for a couple years before it finally quit. The cable was the toughest part, never really snagged on anything sharp.

Actually, gotta push back on the idea that the M12 is some unbreakable beast. Seen a few of those cameras come back with cracked housings from normal jobsite drops. The screen is a weak point too, gets scratched up real easy if you don't baby it. For the price, you expect it to handle more abuse. The cable might be tough, but the unit itself feels kinda cheap in hand. My two cents, it's just another tool that'll break if you're rough on it.
