That one client who wanted 12 logo revisions for $150 total
Last month I had a small bakery owner in Austin ask me to redesign their logo. They paid a $50 deposit and then sent 11 rounds of changes over 3 weeks, asking for new colors, fonts, and mascot concepts each time. I finally had to put my foot down after midnight on a Tuesday when they requested a photo-realistic croissant as a vector. Has anyone else dealt with clients who treat a flat rate like unlimited access?

Actually a $50 deposit means you had $100 coming, not $150 total.

Wait what? I thought the $50 was on top of the $100, that math doesn't add up at all!

The $50 deposit fee is like that buy one get one half off deal that's actually just a regular price with extra steps. My brain still insists $100 plus $50 equals $150 no matter how many times someone explains it's an adjustment. Pretty sure the person who designed this math was the same one who thought 30% off a $10 item should cost $7.50.
