Can we talk about my neighbor's new gas leaf blower?

He fired it up last Tuesday and said 'it's just a little yard work, what's the harm?'... has anyone found a good way to talk about this stuff without starting a fight?

My neighbor's gas mower used to be the same story every Saturday morning. I finally asked if he'd tried the battery powered ones because they're way quieter for hangover weekends. He actually switched after borrowing mine for a week.

Ever notice how the loudest yard tools always seem to wake you up right when you finally fall back asleep? I'm so noise sensitive on weekend mornings that I once tried to use my regular vacuum to clean the patio, just because it was quieter than my leaf blower. My own gas mower is probably why my neighbor gives me that tired look over the fence. Maybe I should take my own advice and finally make the switch.

Oh man, I saw an article about how those gas blowers are crazy loud and bad for air quality. Maybe try what @sandra146 did and just mention how much quieter the battery ones are?
