Yeah, like I need my garage to smell like burnt dreams. I turned a nice piece of mahogany into a charcoal briquette once.

Actually, charcoal briquettes are usually made from softer woods like pine or sawdust scraps. Mahogany is way too dense and burns way too hot for that. Your garage probably smelled awful (expensive wood smoke has a weird sting to it). That piece was basically just super fancy firewood at that point.
