Warning: I stopped inspecting my saw blades before each cut

My buddy learned that lesson the hard way last spring. He was rushing to finish a maple table top and skipped his usual morning check. The blade had a tiny chip he didn't catch. Ended up with a nasty tear-out right across the most visible part. He spent more time fixing that one mistake than a whole week of quick glances would have taken. Sometimes the extra minute really does save the hour.

Spot gloss on business cards seemed extra until I saw the result

Totally changed my view" is a bit much. It's just a business card. Feels like extra cost for something people throw out anyway.

Showerthought: From carrying heavy travel books to just using my phone

Totally get what you mean... I had a whole shelf of those heavy books gathering dust. Remember trying to fold those huge maps back up on a windy street corner? What a pain. Now I just pull up a walking route instantly, and I love that the apps update with new spots or closed places so you're never lost with old info. It really does free up the budget for a nicer meal or an extra tour instead.

Realized my meal prep saves more than just cash during installs

No way you were untangling old wires while hungry! That sounds like a recipe for yanking something you shouldn't. My hands get so clumsy when I'm starving, I'd probably rip a wire right out. The focus thing is so real, but for me it's more about not making a huge mistake because I'm hangry and impatient. I'd be scared to touch anything electrical without a clear head and a full stomach.

My trip to a Swiss bank gave me ideas for secure panel locations.

Zurich bank videos show panels under stairs.
