Switched from brute-forcing file names to actually reading the error logs last month after wasting 6 hours on a typo

Now instead of blindly guessing what broke I just scroll up 3 lines and it tells me exactly where I missed a semicolon, has anyone else had that humbling moment where you realize the console is your friend?

Yo have you ever had a buddy who kept reinventing the wheel instead of just reading the docs? My friend spent a whole weekend trying to fix a broken API call, then realized he forgot to put a comma in his JSON payload.

@reeseanderson a whole weekend just for a missing comma? that's brutal. I'd be questioning all my life choices at that point.
