Appreciation post: watched a roaster in Seattle switch from a drum to a sample roaster and my home brews finally taste right

What does a sample roaster have to do with your home brews? Curious how that changed anything. A drum holds heat differently than a sample roaster so the profile is way different, but the beans you buy are roasted on whatever the shop uses, not your gear. Sounds more like you just found a shop you actually like.
