PSA: I dropped $150 on a 'professional' milk frother and it's either genius or a total waste

I bought the Nanofoamer Pro after seeing all the hype for perfect microfoam at home. On one side, it actually makes latte art way easier than my old steam wand, and the texture is really good. On the other side, it's a fussy gadget that needs a full clean after every single use, which adds maybe five minutes to my morning routine. For people who just want a quick cup, is this kind of tool worth the cost and the extra steps?

Sounds like you paid $150 for a fancy whisk and a new chore. The microfoam might be perfect but so is the extra five minutes of cleaning you didn't ask for. Honestly, some days my coffee just needs to be hot and caffeinated, not a whole project.

Seriously, it's just coffee.
