Warning: my espresso machine died mid-shot this morning and it was a nightmare
My Breville machine just stopped pumping water during a double shot at 6am. No warning, no weird noises, just dead. Anybody dealt with fixing these things or should I just toss it and start over?

My buddy's Breville did the same thing last month. He just bought a new one.

Wait, you mean people actually just replace them instead of trying to fix it?
I used to think it was crazy to throw out a $500 toaster just because one part broke, but honestly, after hearing this and seeing my own struggle, I get it now.
Repair shops around here either charge almost as much as a new one or take forever, and you never know if it'll just fail again in a month.
Sometimes it's just not worth the headache, you know?
At least your buddy didn't waste a bunch of time on a lost cause like I almost did.
