I almost sent a friend to the wrong bus stop because the transit app map only used red and green lines.

I was trying to help my friend, who's red-green colorblind, find the express route downtown on the city app last Tuesday, and the map legend was useless without the text labels I had to zoom way in to see, so now I always check if a map works in grayscale before sharing it. Has anyone found a good app for checking that kind of thing quickly?

Right? @sean_robinson it's one of those simple hacks that just works. Like turning a color photo of a messy room into grayscale to spot clutter way faster. Or checking a design's contrast by removing color first to see if the layout still holds up. Makes you realize how much color can distract from the basic shapes and balance. Pure genius.
