Just realized colorblind accessibility isn't just about red and green
Last month at a design meetup in Chicago, a guy named Marcus showed me his dashboard that used blue and purple for key data points. I thought that was safe, but he told me both colors look identical to him with his tritanopia. Honestly, I had never even considered blue-yellow colorblindness before that conversation. Has anyone else run into a color combo you thought was fine but totally failed someone with a less common color vision deficiency?

Did you try adding texture or patterns along with the colors?

Patterns help but they add visual noise and can make dashboards look cluttered. I'd rather just pick a colorblind-friendly palette and keep it clean instead of trying to fix bad colors with busy textures.
