Paid $70 for a color blindness simulator app and it broke my brain

I dropped $70 on that color blind simulator app for my work designs, thinking it'd be a quick fix. Instead, I spent 3 hours just running my own living room photos through it and realizing my wife's favorite armchair looks totally different to me... Has anyone else gotten stuck just testing random stuff instead of actual work?

God yeah that app is a rabbit hole... @nora735 your buddy checking his dog is exactly the kind of thing I'd do next. Best piece of advice I got was to set a timer for 15 minutes when you first open it, just to keep yourself from falling into the whole "let me test every single wall in my house" trap. I keep a list of actual work tasks right next to my phone now, otherwise I'll just keep spinning through random photos and forgetting what I was supposed to be checking.

My buddy spent two hours checking if his dog was color blind through that app.
