That Spider-Man pizza at our meetup changed how I see fan events
I used to think comic fan gatherings were all about the books, but then someone brought a Spider-Man pizza. We ended up sharing stories about our first comics for hours.

Wow, @samschmidt, I've been to enough fan meetups to know it's NOT always the big life changes that shift your view. From my experience, a fun thing like that pizza gets people talking way more than just sitting around with comics. I remember a Star Wars themed drink once led to our group setting up a yearly movie marathon. It's those small shared moments that BUILD something real.

Come on, a pizza changed your whole view? That seems a bit much. It was just a snack shaped like a superhero. I've had way bigger moments that actually shifted how I see things, like finally moving out on my own. Sharing stories is cool and all, but it's just hanging out. It's not that deep.
