Just realized most folks ignore the power supply when they hear a weird noise

I was fixing a gaming rig for a client in Tempe, and they were convinced their new RTX 4070 was failing because of a grinding sound. After swapping parts for an hour, I finally checked the Corsair RM850x PSU and found a fan bearing was shot. It's always the last thing people check, but a bad PSU can mimic so many other problems. Has anyone else had a noise issue that turned out to be the power supply?

My old Seasonic Focus unit started buzzing like a hornet's nest last year. Took me weeks to trace that high-pitched whine back to the PSU.
