Hot take: I used to think a steel trowel was the only way to finish a driveway.

Did a job in Phoenix last summer, 110 degrees easy. The slab was setting up way too fast. My usual passes were leaving marks and I was fighting it. An old timer on the crew saw me sweating and just said, 'Kid, grab the magnesium.' Switched tools and the finish smoothed right out. Anyone else have a go-to switch for hot weather pours?
