Question about using a garden sprayer for curing compound

Everyone on my crew said it was a dumb idea, but I tried a cheap 2 gallon pump sprayer on a driveway job last Tuesday. It gave a way more even coat than the old roller method and saved us about 20 minutes. Has anyone else tried something like this and had it work out?

Works great if you keep the nozzle clean and shake the compound well first.

@tessa922, I always skipped the shaking step before but your tip totally fixed my problem!
